Glenn Simpson ADCRG, offers classes which feature unique and intensive technique training with emphasis being paid to the fundamental elements of traditional Irish dance. From age 4 years and older, students will be given a strong foundation of Irish dance techniques as well as effective warm up, cool down and stretching methods coupled with muscle identification and an understanding of core stability. With this strong foundation, students will then be taught modern and original choreography designed for all competition levels.

Classes

Beginner Children are given a strong foundation of traditional irish dance, using techniques and exercises designed by Glenn Simpson. Students will be given the option to enter into competition Age 4+

Competition Students will be given intensive expert training, world class choreography and competition guidance, dancers will be asked for a high level of commitment to classes, practise and physical fitness. All

Adult Ceili Dance Program Starting September 2010 Students {from age 18+} participate in group warm-up and cool-down stretching sessions and are then taught foundation Irish dance steps such as "promenade step" and "sidestep" Then will work in teams of 4, 6, and 8, learning traditional Irish Ceili dances from ”An Rince Foirne”, the official Irish dance ceili book. Students are given the option to learn the necessary solo material in order to compete in Adult competitions.

Registration + Fee's
Annual Registration fee is due at the start of Fall semester. Class fee's are due at start of each semester, payable by cheque only. Students recieve 1 D.A.I.D. School T-shirt to be worn in Class Additional T- shirts are available to buy, as well as Tracksuits + Dance Bags Please email me for more info on the Class fees + Family plan |
